March 2nd, 2009 - RODEO!

The end of February and early March is rodeo time in Tucson! We spent two great days at the Tucson Rodeo Grounds enjoying the professional rodeo. Our first gallery is up with 23 exciting images and there are more to come, including the University of Arizona Rodeo!

October 10th, 2008

The astronomical observing season has started once again and it started off with a BANG! Literally!

The Catalina Sky Survey's 1.5 meter (60 inch) telescope discovered an asteroid known as 2008 TC3. This was the first time an asteroid was discovered BEFORE entering the Earth's atmosphere. Our latest time lapse video was made the night this object was discovered. It lasts from sunset to sunrise, so you get to see the star rotating over head for the entire night.
